Along with William Manning and Greg Parker, Frederick Lynch is one of Maine's premier abstract artists.  In Maine, his works are in the collections of the University of New England Gallery of Art as well as the Portland and Farnsworth Museums of Art. The works on the right are from early in Fred's career and will not only serve as useful background information for viewing his recent works but would also be important additions to anyone seeking a more comprehensive collection of his work.
