SCOTT MOORE

Scott Moore grew up in the Washington, DC area in a family of artists.  Moore has a BFA in Painting from the Maine College of Art and has lived and painted on the coast of Maine for forty years. He has served as a consulting artist for Maine’s Percent For Art program, taught at the Farnsworth Museum, lead workshops including Maine Women in the Arts at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and curated “Four Maine Painters” at the Maine Audubon Gallery. Scott lives in a nineteenth century farmhouse in Stockton Springs overlooking Penobscot Bay with his wife and daughter.  Scott's paintings are included in domestic and international private and corporate collections.
