Born in Brunswick, Maine, Tom Paiement is a well-known, Maine based contemporary artist. His work has been described as "powerful and masterly that rocks the walls" by Portland Press Herald art critic Phil Isaacson, and his recent triology, "Entropy" has been described as "one of the most important pieces of contemporary art to come out of Maine in recent years" by the Portland Museum of Art's Susan Danly.  No collection of Maine contemporary art is complete without Tom's work.
